Watching my Mom and Dad open their gift of fresh Morel Mushrooms with not only shock at seeing something they loved and hadn't seen in 15 years, but joy, excitement, anticipation, and growling bellies is something I will never forget... The morels are so unbelievably clean. Even with the rinses we maybe find a couple of wee bugs holding on but I've never found more than 2 or 3 in a pound of mushrooms. It's unbelievable!... They are wonderfully sized, in great shape, packaged securely with appropriate air flow to maintain freshness... The white truffle was in superb condition and we served it shaved atop freshly made tangherlini pasta tossed with a light browned butter and Reggiano parmesan. We have had a home in Italian speaking Switzerland for many years, about 15 minutes from Italy and I will tell you that we have not ever had better white truffles in Italy than the one you sent us here. Unfortunately, we were not so lucky with one of the two black truffles... I managed to save the day with careful trimming and the black truffle slices were carefully slid under the skin of a large young free-range chicken along with a generous quantity of truffle butter. The resulting roast chicken made for a fine Thanksgiving dinner despite the loss of part of the featured truffles."

"Good evening, I wanted to share a very true story with you as it has special meaning for me and my family. My dad was a pastor in WA several years ago and acquired a love for huckleberry pie. Fast forward to 2013 and his retirement party from the pastoral ministry and his birthday. He had not had huckleberry pie since leaving WA. Having no idea how well huckleberries would travel, I took the chance and ordered from you and surprised him with a huckleberry pie at the church party. I'm still hunting down the picture of him digging in. When I do, I will share it with you. He enjoyed that so much. This past March, he was diagnosed with a degenerative neuromuscular disease which progressed more rapidly than his doctors would've ever forecasted. He started to have difficulty eating solid food, as was expected. Still, I placed another order and made him another pie. He hadn't smiled from March until August when he dug into the pie and was able to swallow it with only some difficulty. It's amazing how something so simple can bring such happiness. Early this morning, Dad passed away from complications (pneumonia). We are so happy he is no longer suffering with this. I got home to put something in the freezer and found the 2nd bag of huckleberries. I knew I had to reach out to you with this story. Thank you for being a part of making him happy.
